Beginner Knitting 01 | M | Mar 17-Apr 7

This program will cover the basics of knitting, starting with how to knit a simple knit stitch and evolving into knowledge of materials and pattern reading. As the class progresses, participants will be encouraged to bring in a pattern of their choice to work on with guidance from the teacher. Students will walk away able to read and follow a simple pattern, with a knitting sample that features the techniques covered in class.

Note:

Participants will need to provide their own set of size 8 knitting needles and their choice of yarn weight 4.
