Art Appreciation: Still Lifes - Summer Intensive

This summer drawing session invites young artists to explore the rich tradition of still life art across art history, from the symbolic arrangements of Ancient Egypt to the expressive compositions in modern art. Each class will begin with an exercise in drawing fundamentals such as value, perspective, proportion, and composition - followed by a still life study from different historical periods. Students will sketch the piece, making technical analyses and observations, while learning its significance on the art world and history.

Note:

*Parents/guardians must sign in and check out their children during each class. You must present a valid ID or driver's license to the instructor during this process.
